Hello and welcome to the first Cordatus newsletter of 2009. Well, it's not a great start to the new year is it? Finally the Dell smoke has developed into the fire we have been fearing for some time. During its 18 years in Limerick, Dell manufacturing served the community well, and its customer services division in Bray will continue to do so. Below you will find information on an innovation conference that may serve Dell manufacturing employees well in determining their futures.
FINDING THE FUTURE - DISCONTINUOUS INNOVATION IN IRISH FIRMS: Conference, 29 January 2009, Dublin
While necessity may be the mother of invention, the ability to seek out radical alternative futures is the source of innovation. The findings of the in depth innovation audit among Irish firms carried out in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland, PDMA and the University of Limerick will be presented on the day.
