  • Innovation:

"Ingredients of a successful growing organisation should include a high degree of system and stability and a small degree of turbulence.

Innovation is the source of the turbulence."

    Innovation Cartoon

What is innovation? We are being encouraged by government and development agencies to innovate to stimulate financial growth, but what do they mean exactly? Unlike invention, which usually requires a flash of inspiration, innovation is a process of coordinated activities that, when linked with identified opportunities, generates new value for the organisation and the customer.

In partnership with The Centre for Competitiveness, Cordatus offers a range of structured innovation workshops take participants through this process of coordinated activities. The workshops enable participants to:

    • identify opportunities for innovation in their products or services
    • develop dozens of ideas for product and service innovation within hours
    • prioritise these ideas in terms of market viability
    • understand the significance of the business planning process in expoliting innovation in the marketplace
    • establish contact with technology transfer, patent and licence agencies.
