DEVELOPING YOUR SIX SIGMA ROADMAP
Cordatus offers consulting in six sigma programme design and implementation, that is linked to your organisation’s strategic and operational goals. Our consultants are trained master black belts and black belts with many years of experience in change management associated with six sigma. We will advise on training at all levels of the organisation – who to train and when – and also facilitate the training for you.
We answer questions such as:
- What is Six Sigma and how does it help to increase customer satisfaction and grow business?
- Lean or six sigma – which one is best for us? Can we combine both?
- Our employees are likely to think of six sigma as flavour of the month. How do we overcome that?
- What return should we expect on our projects?
All Cordatus programmes are designed in line with ISO 13053, the international governance standard for six sigma. However each programme is customised to suit your organisation’s needs. You can be confident of high standards combined with tailored programme design and delivery. Please click on the icons below to view our customer base and what they say about us.

SIX SIGMA STRUCTURES
When an organisation implements six sigma, a shadow organisation is developed. This consists of six sigma trained personnel. Each has a distinct role to play in promoting, managing and sustaining the six sigma programme.
The six sigma champion is a part time six sigma programme member who provides guidance and support to six sigma project leaders and team members. S/he is likely to be a member of the senior management team.
The black belt is a full-time six sigma programme member who is expected to contribute between €250,000 and €1,000,000 to the company’s operating profit annually.
The green belt is a part-time six sigma programme member who is expected to contribute €20,000 – €50,000 to the company’s operating profit per project completed.
The yellow belt is a part-time six sigma team member who is expected to participate in improvement project and events, using a limited number of six sigma problem solving tools.
SIX SIGMA PROJECT MANAGEMENT
All six sigma projects that improve current processes are managed according to a five step Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control cycle.
Design projects are managed on a variation of that cycle: Define, Measure, Analyse, Design and Validate.
Our six sigma programmes are designed in line with the international standard ISO 13053 (see below). Depending on the certification level, our training programmes are accredited by the American Society for Quality (www.asq.org) and/or The International Quality Federation (www.iqf.org) and/or Cordatus black belts.
